You have come up with a very satisfying storyline. I know very little about coal mining, but have heard my dad talk about school during the time Will would have gone, everything seems right on the mark. BJ

I hated this dreary chapter. But that's the way it was, I'm sure. You sure did a great job in describing all the workings down in that miserable hole, but I'm anxious now to get back to a happier Will and company........Kath
