Only in Texas is right! Wish I'd have been along to witness that...

A cute story! The local red hat club meets monthly and it is a startling sight to see all those ladies in their purple slacks and red hats! Lots of fun! Wanda Bates.

Yes, isn't it fun to bump into a crowd of those gals! You usually hear them before you even see them...

Oh Kathy, this is charming and hysterical! I too comb the back roads in search of old barns and cemeteries to photograph, and was once chased by a momma javelina with babies. And after I told her I would make her famous, too. Carol

Carol, thanks for your wonderful comments. You are the winner, however, being chased by the javelina! And, just where is a picture of that big, mean mama??

Well, it was a case of moving, thus blurry objects! Me as well as that momma. As I threw myself in the car, she raced off with the kids. I did get one shot of a tiny hairy black behind disappearing in the brush. Carol

Wow, Kathy, what a charmer that Jerry is. Cute and funny story of his travels thru rural America. You best watch out girl, for one of these days one of them cute lil 'ol Red Hatters will steal him away. You'll know exactly where to look. Kathe

You hit the nail on the head - Jerry is a charmer!! He never meets a stranger and loves to woo older ladies. Heck, he even does it in front of me - oh, to see their eyes light up does my heart good. But, it might throw them into A-fib!!! Thanks for your sweet comments.

I hope that group of Red Hatters did make your husband an Honoray Member, and if they didn't, they should have!
What a darlin' story, and please add to it the next time Jerry encounters such a group. We all need to laugh more!
Sincerely,
Sandi in FL.
