I have a soft spot in my heart for those with “special needs”. My first grandson was diagnosed with autism at eighteen months old. He has benefited from the special education programs that were not available to Howard, as well as been championed by a mother rabid to find every teaching technique available for him. As a result, he is now going to public school kindergarten, without an aid, which was the first of many goals. Wouldn’t it have been wonderful if Howard could have been as fortunate? I’m looking forward to reading Howard’s story. BJ

I know how important this project has been to you, Fred. You've made an interesting start and I greatly look forward to Howard's story. You're very good at praising the worth of others in your work and I do so admire that wonderful trait. God Bless, Kathe.

I thank you Nancy, for your comment and for the suggestions you gave me for the presentation of the project. As for Howard being pleased, I know he will be pleased because I know that he did want his story to be told and to be known. I am grateful for having the privilege of being the one to do it for him.
