A well writen story of love between grandfather and grandson. I to love the loon, I felt as if I were there on the log with them.

This is a beautiful story. I too have been fascinated by the Loon. What a majestic creature it is. I loved this story and I could almost feel and hear the sounds and the motions of the water and the breezes.

Thank you for the three above comments. I just love the sound of loons, and their independence to want to live in a far corner of some bay. They represent, to me, the natural sound of nature.
