Wheeee! Yes, I have had some of those moments too. You, lady, have missed your calling - you should have been an author. Bet you would be a whiz at ficton too. I love "living" through your stories. H.D.

Seems like most of my life has been full of "Wheees." Just read a few of my stories. This was one of those good old white knucklers for the ladies and well done.....Kath

The innocence of youth. What a harrowing experience for your Aunts and Grandmother. You and your cousin enjoyed it without knowing the possible scary outcome. God was truly with you.
Thamks for sharing your memories. Marlene

Susan dear,
Well, by now I'm very familiar with this memorable story, and still love thinking about your childish thrill regarding the incident! Ahhhhh, to be an innocent kid again, unaware of the perils and fears on the road ahead! You've told this in a way that captivates the reader, and I'm delighted that you still have MANY more remembrances to share on Our Echo.
Love you and always will,
Sandi.
P.S. When I push a child in a swing, I always say, "Wheeee!" as they go up high!

Yes! I was trying to think of several instances when that would be the appropriate word but didn't think of the times we say it when swinging our "grands"! I appreciate your comments, and I love you! ~ Susan

Great story. A number of years ago I got it in my head that seeing one of my birds, a yellow wing amazon named Barbara, moving her head in a sideways motion and yelling "Wheee!" was a wonderful thing, so I taught her to do it and got many laughs from visitors watching her perform her "Wheeee!"

Thanks for the memories, In my home town there was a big bump in the road, and if you took it at the right speed the car would just for a few min's. become air born, and the kids would experience a weeee!!! moment.

Dear Fred and K.L. ~ I enjoy hearing from other writers at this site and I thank you for taking the time to read my stories. It's fun to recall the past, like your trained bird, Fred, and the speed bump/airborn moment, K.L. ~ things that bring big smiles to our faces and to those of others when we tell about them. ~ Susan
