Hi Kathy,

Being an avid college basketball fan myself, I really enjoyed this essay about your mom. Very nicely done and heartwarming.

'Tis no wonder the seniors scoffed this one up for their magazine. It's a beaut in every way, and of course, perfectly written as are all your works. Please keep them coming....Kath
P.S. I hate March Madness.

It has to be hard losing a loved one of so many decades with so many reminders around you of happy times.

Yes, it's hard losing our loved ones but it's all part of life - the tough part, indeed.

This is such a loving tribute to your mother and her love for basketball. It's a sport I've always liked, too... mainly because it's fast-paced yet easy to follow. You're fortunate to have the month of March to associate with your mother in a good, happy, memorable way.
Blessings,
Sandi in FL.

I appreciate your kind remarks, Sandi. Yes, I spend a lot of time thinking about Mom in March...for many reasons.
