I've written two novels and numerous short stories, all the while believing I was starting too late. I've been doubly inspired today. Thank you. BJ

I too am a late starter, being 73. I thankyou for writing about Kathe because she is not only a great writer, but is also a source of inspiration to others. She has been and continues to be a greatly appreciated mentor to me.

Nancy, thanks for sharing these stories of older writers. When I was a child I struggled through school.... my spelling was terrible to the point I never dreamed I'd ever write something that anyone would want to read. Since then I've found most writers are very helpful & encouraging.
Spelling still gives me fits & sometimes my inner voice tries to tell me I'll never be a writer....that's when I just tell that voice to take a hike.

Great article, Nancy, and such fascinating "late bloomers" you write about. Yep, I'm a late bloomer myself, with gobs of life experiences under my belt that are just waiting to be written about. Your stories are always interesting and inspirational.

Brilliant, Nancy and so well written! Thank you for the pep talk. I've decided our dear Kathe could bottle inspiration and sell it - whatcha think??

Such a lovely story for a precious friend. I'm very happy Kathe writes. A heartfelt and gutsy story. More! from both author and friend. Richard LP
