I wrote this poem as a song & Vonnie Hodges from Andover added the music for me after I sang it through to her several times.

Then entered it in the Wichita Song contest. Although I didn't win a prize or placing I enjoyed the challenge. As it turns out someone from New York won the contest & I don't think he'd ever been to Kansas let alone Wichita.
