Kathe,

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I, too, was a real movie buff back in the days when they made wonderful films that transported us from our everyday lives into other places. And I agree with you that the best movies were made then. Nicely written story.

Hee-Hee! And after you, along with my siblings, got through with the movie shows... we got a black and white TV SET! Boy! did I get some "goodie" outta that thing! All through elementary school, that was my MAIN companion, unless I was off in the woods by myself, making it up 'as I went along!' When the hubby gets ahold of that remote on weekends now I sometimes still am a tad shocked! I know I cannot watch the really old stuff with him in control :) ... Thanks Kathe, it's COOL!

Kathe, this is a memory for so many of us who feel the same way about our old favorite movies of yesteryear. Such nostalgia! It's just not the same nowadays, is it. Maybe the world will realize what is missing in the movie world and bring back those fabulous old theaters and the movies that went with them. One can hope! Thanks for the memories, dear girl. Love you.

Kathe, you really outdid yourself in writing this story. It is so colorful and exciting. You made me think back to the days on Saturday afternoons when I would go with my friends to the movies. If we were lucky,we might even have a double feature, complete with popcorn and candy. Keep your stories coming. Millie Jones

You brought back many good memories of days gone bye. Movies and pop corn on Saturday night at the drive in. Thanks
