Susan dear,
As I type this, I'm literally chuckling out loud, because you'd alrady told me about that mountain trip and what an "adventure" it turned out to be, though not exactly as you five friends had anticipated. You told it in great form and wonderful details, and it really seems more like a comedy than the frightening, unpleasant trek it was that dark, rainy night.
Hurry and post chapter two!
Love you much,
Sandi.

I tell you girl, you have hidden talent!
This was so funny.
I can just see, in my imagination, the five ofyou old gals out on a moonlit night in N.C. It probably is through God's angels that you were not shot by that sweet on mountain lady! H.D.

Susan, What an adventure! I am so glad for all of us that you chose to record the events in writing. When reading about it, I felt like I was right there with you all.
Love, Mattie

Writing narrative poetry is not easy, but you've done a terrific job here. I agree with Gail about hoping to see more of the tale.

Susan,
I remember hearing the story first hand upon your return to YOUR cozy townhouse in Georgia!!... You were JUST beginning to be able to laugh about it. Now you've written a wonderful poem that is full of laughs!

You are so lucky to have such a wonderful group of friends!! Y'all can find fun where ever you go! Much love, Tracy

I, too, await the adventures of day 2, 3 & 4! Keep it comin', Susan, you are multi-talented and only now in your 60's, getting started. You're not getting older, you're getting better.
A great read.

Susan, what a story and well written! All I can say is the Good Lord took care of the Georgia Five every step of the way. And I don't envy you one iota! Let us hear the conclusion soon.

Susan,
I watch The Hallmark Channel just about every night. After reading your poem, and picturing The Georgia Five in your quest for Hidden Hollow, I can see a "made for tv movie" or a series on The Hallmark Channel.

Great job!

Dusan, the story of your trip up that mountain was great, I can just see all the unexpected things happening, not so funny as they happened. Let's have the "rest of the story". JW

Susan, I can just picture the five of you in this situation. Five little prissy ladies that are used to everyday comforts. This was truly a story of intrigue and TALENT on your part. Keep the stories coming. I really enjoy them. Marlene

Susan, you did a great job on the poem . I remember when you all took this trip---wish I had been there too.
