Kristy, making a difference in a young childs life sure has its rewards. We too saw the change in Jessie in the short time she lived w/ you. I think of her & her little sister a lot & pray they'll both continue in the direction you've pointed them.
Sharing your stories may help someone who's been straddling the fence on rather to become a foster parent. As you pointed out things aren't aways easy raising a foster child but the rewards must truely out weigh the hardships.

This story is a heartbreaker in many ways, Kristy, but "hope" is there, hope for Jessie because of her 3 years with you, hope for others in similar circumstances if someone, somewhere, reaches out with love to show them the way. Thanks for sharing. Carol
