This is your best one yet. All it lacked was some of our Kansas snow instead of tne rain. Gail

Thank You Gail. Something is missing, but I can't put a finger on it. I'll go over it in a couple of days, and maybe then I'll see it.

Thank you, still can't seem to feel right about this one, any suggestions?

In my amateur opinion there is nothing lacking in the story content...it is vivid in discription of setting, story, and emotion. So in my opinion if it isn't broke...don't fix it! Editing of spelling, grammar, and tense (goes from past tense to present tense in the same narrative) could be done perhaps, but the story itself is great! I'm a beginner so this is only MY OPINIION.I love reading it!

Thank you, I suppose your right. I'm still new at this also I'm not sure yet what is good and what isn't. I only know how I feel when I read something.

This is a rich, beautifully told story, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, but definitely agree with Christine that you could improve it by not switching back and forth from present tense to past tense several times in the content. Stick with one or the other, but not both in the same narrative.
Wish you had had a camera to take some photos of the wolf family!
Blessings,
Sandi in FL.

There was no wolf pack, just me and a vivid imagination. I love animals so many of my stories are about animals. Thank you.

Oooh, chilling at first when you first sighted the lone wolf, then warmth when you saw the pair and their cubs...very good descriptions accompany your story of these beautiful animals. ~ Susan Poole

Reminds me of some of Tony Hillerman's books. Great description! Gail
