My kid sister and I were in the same grade in high school and took many of the same exams. She had exam anxiety. She always did her homework. I never did mine. She crammed for exams. I never studied. I always scored about 15 points higher on exams than she did and it infuriated her. I paid dearly when I went to college because not having any study habits, I did not do well.
As for dripping faucets, all you need is a strip of rag or a piece of heavy string or twine. Attach it to the faucet and adjust it so the drops of water follow it to the bottom. No drip, tap or sound.
