I'm afraid to say those cute little critters would have "sucked" me in too as regards the feedings! And, I had to chuckle picturing the disaster in your kitchen. So glad you learned from your mistakes...and sorry 'bout the shots you endured!

You never cease to amaze me with your tales of life on your mountain. This one was a doozy! I guess the moral here is to leave wildlife where God intended - in the wilds. Great story, as always. I would expect nothing less from you. Bravo!

I enjoyed your story, I probably would have done the same thing. Montana must be beautiful.
