Absolutely right, Wanda. I hope you have had a nice Christmas. We certainly did. Our children leave tomorrow, and so do we. Off to Houston to the Bowl game.

Just adorable, Wanda. And you're so right--get 'em reading from the git go and they'll never stop. Top priority in my tenure as a librarian in my "retirement" career change, is to influence as many children, young people, and parents as possible into not only the joys of reading, but the absolute requirement of it to succeed and excel in their world. That is such a sweet picture, Wanda. It could be an ad for literacy or something like that. You can never start children reading too young. This child will be a book lover by the looks of things!

P.S. Happy New Year, Wanda!

The baby's picture was sent to the author of the book and he asked to use it for display for sale of the book. The baby is my great-great niece, Layla Rose. Reading the newspaper is my great-granddaughter, Allison. Thanks to all for comments. Wanda
