I can relate to this more than any other story I have ever read, I too have lost loves of my life, ones I will never forget, ones that were always there for me, ones that can never be replaced, ones that were, oh so special. You just put it down on paper better than I can. You have a true gift for writing. Keep up the great work. CAROL

Kathy has a way of writing from her heart. A beautiful poem about a beloved dog named Miss Josey. Made me teary and think of special animals in my life. Linda Farner

(sniff sniff) I feel every bit of your pain, I too have lost my special friends.
Hope to see more of your writings in the very near future. My favorite ones to read are ones about our 4 legged friends.

OK, OK!
Cher comprehends so well here! I once had a schnauzer also: Lukey. Tiny guy would take on anyone who raised a hand toward me, playing or otherwise! He disappeared from our backyard :(
My angel was a rottie : ) More to come-

I read this a few weeks back, but couldn't leave a comment, it was to hard to see through the tears. What a great poem, fantastic work.

What a concept--using the Miss Josey's voice! Beautiful poem, Kathleene, you're a whiz. Carol

Yeah, yeah, I know I've read this before and I've said the same thing before....but Kathy, every time I read about Josie, I feel blessed. I think it was one of Josie's poems that introduced you and me, and I'm grateful to her....Barbara

Well, I don't think I can write. I lost my Tiny last year and it's still fresh in my heart. Poem so true.

Kathy, I can relate to the happiness and joy your little Josey brought you. I lost my Shihtzu in May after 16 years.Friends brought me another shihtzu a little girl this time, Lizzie and though she can not take the plce of Gorbee, she has filled my days with sunshine and smiles. I fell in love with her, too. She is 2 and a character.
