A very touching story. I couldn't finish the story without crying. Mrs. Zillman is a wonderful lady. I finished my first hand made quilt last Christmas for my niece. It took me three years to finish. And, now I am working on my nephews quilt. I know how time consuming it is to hand stitch every patch. Thank you for a wonderful story.

What a legacy for this little boy who has a wealth of friends and family to protect him always. The quilt will no doubt ne handed down as the grands and greats come along someday. I do hope you wrap up a precious binder filled with your sweet words, Bonnie, to tuck between the covers. What a heritage you leave this dear family even if they can't have their husband and dad.
Regards.......Kathe in Montana

Bonnie, I have long been an admirer of your words from afar, and this story is one of your best. It speaks volumes of life and death, but mostly of love. Never stop writing. Your words heal and provide a legacy, and that is exactly what this world needs. You go, girl.

I am truly touched by that story. Althought it is a sad story, I am sure it has helped heal the pain for other people. I will be thinking of Liam and his mom this THANKSGIVING weekend...kim
