What a gripping story of Christmas. Sure couldn't stop reading until the end. So thankful you all survived. That was the Christmas my five children all had the chicken pox, so not a great Christmas for us either. At that it had to have been better than yours. Gail

Hi Dick,

It was good to read one of your Eniwetok stories again. This one makes us all realize how many people away from home celebrate Christmas in any way they can and under often less than ideal circumstances. (A Typhoon would certainly qualify as "less than ideal")

As always you put your stories together with breathless await. Your descriptions held me enthralled and waiting. Great war saga as aways, enjoyed it very much. Kath

I'd say that was a Christmas holiday to remember, mainly because you all survived! I felt like I was in the middle of it with your descriptions...
