Hey thanks for sharing. Clyde's mother always made a sour cream raisin pie that the family thought couldn't be beat. My Mother made the grandest lemon pie with Watkin's lemon flavoring and real meringue. My favorite is the black walnut pie that my husband makes because I'm not fond of pecans. See how one memory triggers other memories. Gail

One day I might take a stab at this one. The only thing holding me back would be whipping up the topping, for as you know, beaters and one-armed ladies don't jibe well. Loved the story as always...Kath
