And you claim not to be a poet & here I find a really neat fun poem. Way to go!! Sure fits a day like today---windy enough to blow you right over on your face.

Loved your poem, Gail. You obviously grew up when kids had to be creative. No techno toys for you. And it was one windy day today. I went to Topeka, and the leaves were swirling in little tornado-like gusts. Hard to even walk against it at times and to hold the car on the highway.

Great timing for a poem about the wind! Very nice. Carol
