I love your historical stories! You've obviously researched well, and the story is nicely written to maintain our interest. The photos add so much too.

Collecting anything becomes a passion! I have many things that I like to have around me besides my wall of books. Which is one of my posts. I also collect colored glass bottles, antique canning jars, insects & rocks. If you liked this one you probably will like my post 'Landscaping With a Hobby'. Thanks, Gail

Hi Gail,
What an interesting article! From henceforth I'll never look at bricks the same way, but will see if any words or dates are on them. I especially enjoyed the old sepia photos accompanying your story, dating way back to 1910, as well as the pictures of the two churches.
Your writings are quite enjoyable and educational.
