An economy of words with a wealth of content! I read an interesting thought recently--we look at a clock, and tend to think of time as circular, recurring, when actually it is linear, stretching forward, never to repeat. Carol

Hello Virginia, this is a succinct poem delivered with a snap, gets to the point and challenges the reader to fill in the spaces between the lines. I believe the above is the mark of a great poet/ess. I too had short snappy poems, then went too bulky. Now I am returning to my root/style. Keep writing. Richard LP
