| Biography: | Born January 1928 in a small Arkansas town and raised in Kansas, Texas and Arkansas. Married a career Army SGM and we had four children. We were assigned to two tours in Europe and one tour in Japan, as well as in many cities in the US. My husband had unaccompanied tours to Korea and Vietnam. I am a chapter 35 widow as my DAV husband died in 1988. My oldest daughter lives near and my youngest in Acworth, Ga. My son, youngest of the four siblings lives in Jacksonville, Fl. My oldest son died in 2003 after being in and out of VA Hospitals since returning from vietnam in 1966.So, I write poetry and it helps me to keep on keeping on. ebc. |
