Biography:Much of my writing was done for columns for the local newspaper when I was a library director. Since retiring, I looked for another outlet for my writing. Inspired by my mother, Gail Martin, plus my aunt, Carol Garriott, I hope to get the words onto paper now. Our family participation in Our Echo is spreading as two of my sisters now post their writing here (Cynthia Ross and Shannon Hyle) and two nieces (Samantha Hyle and Kristy Duggan).

I moved to Central Florida in 2004 when I retired after 30 years as a librarian. I'm having a great time catching up on my reading (between visits to Disney World, playing golf, and traveling).
I enjoy sharing my feelings about books on Amazon and earning votes for helpful reviews. I've lived in Maryland, Australia, Texas along the border of Mexico, northern Ohio and Kansas and love visiting Maine in the summer. (picture taken by Janet Sanford)
